Instructional Design

  • Interact with client stakeholders and analyze client's key problems
  • Perform Needs, Audience, and Task analysis
  • Design and present a solution (WBT, ILT, CBT, Blended, etc)
  • Identify the Learning Objectives and create the Course Outline, Instructional Design Map, and Instructional Strategies
  • Script the storyboard and provide inputs to the visual design team and programming team to create the course GUIs, design guidelines, and share the programming specifications
  • Review the various deliverables and should be responsible for the work quality and performance of the team
  • Ability to learn new subjects and grasp new concepts quickly
  • Sound understanding of different learning styles, problem solving strategies and ID Models (ADDIE, Blooms Taxonomy, Gagne’s Nine Events, ARCS, and Merill’s First Principles of Instruction....)
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Captivate
  • Demonstrate effective English speaking, writing, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills

Graphic Design

  • Possess excellent visualization skills
  • Ability to comprehend the concepts outlined in the storyboard and create graphical elements to represent the same
  • Experience working with sound tracks, and editing and integrating sound tracks into courses
  • Experience in character animation is an added advantage
  • Extensive working knowledge on Flash, Photoshop, and any sound editing tool (Sound forge, Adobe Sound Booth.)
  • Knowledge on Dreamweaver, html, dhtml, Premiere, 3DS max, Maya will be a plus
  • Good aesthetic skills

Visual Design

2-6

  • Excellent drawing skills; ability to sketch/draw characters
  • Experience in Web design, Web application GUI design
  • Passion to create intuitive and nouveau interfaces and design that results in gratifying user interaction and experience
  • Ability to conceptualize and understand the storyboards (SB), visualize and develop media strategies in support of the concepts described in the SB
  • Create visual/graphic design standards, graphic asset libraries and develop design guidelines
  • Exposure to User Experience Workflows and UCD principles
  • Knowledge on Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, 3DS Max, Maya, and After effects

Visual Programming

  • Knowledge on Flash Action Scripting, Flex, Javascript, J2ME, ASP, HTML, DHTML, XML, AJAX, and OOPS concept
  • Knowledge on the functionality of Content Management Systems, LMS, Assessment Engines, Web Applications, Learning Simulations and Games

Application Development

  • Knowledge on C#/VB.Net, ASP.Net,SQL Server/Oracle, OOPs, Sharepoint, Java, J2EE
  • Knowledge on the functionality of Content Management Systems, LMS, Assessment Engines, Web Applications, Learning Simulations and Games
 

For all the functions above, candidates should have worked with an eLearning company for at least an year, be excellent team players with good communication and presentation skills, and have the ability and flexibility to work on multiple tasks and projects.
